Members have each generously donated money and goods to the annual raffle and, as a consequence, the organisation boasts a fabulous range of items – catering for all the family – in 2018, from toys to food, drinks, chocolates, confectionary, beauty products and much more.
In addition, Dianne Chad donated a huge Santa, Ann Beckenham contributed four Christmas coffee mugs, Margaret Wicks gave the hamper and tea towels, Jane Sullivan made a wonderful Christmas cake and Carol Scaramuzzi bestowed a beautiful painting.
The group also received a $40 voucher from the local butcher.
“We purchased all goods in town supporting the local retailers,” publicity officer Ms Scaramuzzi said.
“The items have been packaged into four boxes and we hope to deliver a lot of Christmas joy to the lucky winner.
“Tickets are $2 and we can be found selling them on Kelly Street and in the Coles complex during December.
“We thank Coles for allowing us to operate within the store.”
The Inner Wheel Club of Scone also hosted a Bric a Brac stall at the St Luke’s Anglican Church Fair on December 8.
“Dianne Chad kindly paid for the stall hire and we had a wide range of goods and all sorts of Christmas gift ideas either donated and/or made by our members to further raise funds which, we annually distribute to various groups, schools and organisations in our community,” Ms Scaramuzzi said.
