Ranging across nine subjects, the diversity of courses was incredible and assistant principal Veronica Rolfe echoed those thoughts when she spoke to the Chronicle.
“It’s very impressive for the school and we’re very excited about it,” she said.
“It’s a very nice range of Band 6s in a whole host of different subjects, which was nice to see.”
There were some “best of the best” candidates, and they took their time to share their details with us below:

Aim for 2019: Will attend Charles Sturt University in Port Macquarie to study a Bachelor of Criminal Justice.
What she said: “I was very proud of myself and very excited because I wasn’t sure I was going to get a 90 plus score so it was surprise… but I knew I was a chance because I worked very hard during the year and it’s all paid off.”
Career plans: Ayla has a clear vision of her future plans, aiming at working in the criminal psychology field and possibly work in the defence force.

Age: 18

Aim for 2019: Would like to attend Sydney University to undertake a Bachelor of International and Global Studies or study economics and analytics and Macquarie University in Sydney.
What she said: “I wasn’t expecting it at all, I had no idea it was coming and it just really made my day… I’d always hoped I’d get over 90 and I knew I could but towards the end it was really a bit of a struggle.”
Career plans: Hannah is open minded but aiming high nonetheless, hoping to eventually join the likes of UNICEF or another foreign organisation that works in development economics in third world countries.
All three girls were keen to thank their family, friends and, obviously, the school for all the support they’ve received that has helped them reach the milestone.
Other students who picked up a prestigious Band 6 included: Claudia Bettington (Community and Family Studies (CAFS)), Brooke Clinch (Primary Industries), Monique Crooks (Music 1), Olivia Duggan (CAFS), Sarah Elliott (Music 1), Cordelia Prangley (IT Multimedia), Eleanor Tilse (CAFS) and Cassidy Watts (Music 1).
A further 42 students achieved one or more Band 5s, with the school collecting 94 of them in total.
