Scone-based gym 'The Box in Scone' is hosting a fitness competition this Saturday from 8.30am at Shed 4, 31 Hayes Street.
After the first event was held last year, 'Battle at the Box' has gained a lot of attention with 40 teams signed up to the sold-out event.
But part-owner Sean Casey says people can still come along on the day to see what it's all about.
The fitness centre has a focus on functional and strength training, catering to all ability levels, developing people's strength and confidence.
"We run CrossFit style training, we call it 'functional fitness'," Sean said.
"It's a mix of gymnastics, weight lifting and traditional cardio.
"We incorporate pull-ups, push-ups, kettle bells, skipping and rowing.
"So instead of having one day that is a leg day, or one day that is upper body, we do a full body workout every day, all day."
Mr Casey said they are encouraging people to come along and have a look as teams from Scone, Muswellbrook, Singleton, Tamworth, Moree, Armidale, Newcastle, Dubbo and Orange battle it out.
"We will have a barbecue, cold drinks and coffee available," he said.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third.
