A weighty 34 teams descended upon the club's home carnival, with over 200 competitors and 300 horses galloping their way into games on both Saturday and Sunday.
Players came from near and far, with competitors from local areas such as Muswellbrook and Quirindi and from as far as Guyra, Narrabri and Walcha.
One of the most heated competitions of the carnival was the A open category, with each of the four teams coming close to the title.
In the end, the final winner was decided in a countback, with Cassilis narrowly defeating the home team Bunnan.
Another hotly contested title was the A Women's competition, with an exciting final game leading to the NSW Intermediate Women defeating the Narrabri team by three goals.
The Under-12's competition showcased some exciting games on both Saturday and Sunday, with the Bunnan all-stars defeating the Hot Shots to take home the win, and Bunnan's very own Jake Wamsley bringing home the Champion Sub Junior title.
The Michael Barwick Memorial Trophy for Best No.2 was awarded to Sam Hanlan, and the in-house Bunnan Club Johnny Lawler Memorial Trophy for horsemanship and sportsmanship was awarded to Leah Wilson.
With many thanks to their sponsors, the Bunnan Polocrosse Club is thankful for a great weekend of polocrosse and looks forward to another successful event next year.
