THE Scone Equestrian Vaulting Team (SEVT) excelled at the Sydney Royal Easter Show last week.

The competition was held on Thursday and Friday April 18 and 19 with all team members qualifing during the 2018 calendar year to compete.
Scone came home with many ribbons, however a definite standout was Year 7 Scone Grammar School Student Sarah Clarke.
The event was Clarke's moment to shine, bringing home three first places from the three classes she competed in, including a score over 7 for her Pre-Novice Individual.
Another Scone Grammar School student, Ella Bennett, aged 10, came away with third place in the Prelim Individual and first in the Squad Freestyle Prelim.
Ella's mum Skye Bennett said it was an honour and an amazing experience watching the Scone Equestrian Vaulting Team compete at such a prestigious event.
"It really does take a village for the girls to succeed," she said.
"Coaches, lungers, grooms, vaulters, parents and of course the horses. Such a special bond between them all."
"It was fun, I was proud of them all for coming so far together," coach Jarrod Boyle added.
SEVT that qualified to attend:
Squad (First Place): Sarah Clarke, Charlotte Clarke, Daytona Halloran, Peyton Halloran, Ella Bennett and Grace Pratley.
Lungers: Melinda Osborn and Robyn Boyle.
Coaches: Melinda Osborn, Jarrod Boyle and Robyn Boyle.
Groom: Tiannah Whitby.
All riders vaulted on Crème Brule (Tully).
