There's a stunning street parade, world class horse racing and fun, with mostly free events for everyone in the family.
Themed Legends, Myths & Fantasies, the program features a packed line up and draws on the role that the horse has played in myths over the years, dreams and indeed fantasies.
The newly opened Arena at White Park extends many more opportunities for this year's event and many more equine and entertainment events in the future.
Horse Whispering legend Guy McLean will officially open the Festival from the new Arena.
There are more than sixty experiences to enjoy, along with displays and exhibitions, culminating in a huge firework display at Glenbawn.
