The organisation is set to host an event, which should see upwards of 10 speedboats from the 60s, 70s and 80s on display and in action.
It's the first time it has been held at the dam and co-organiser Narelle Reardon said she's hoping it will be a hit so they can come back again.
"If it works out okay, we may well have it as an annual event," she explained.
"We do that on some of the other rivers, each year on the same weekend we hold the same run."
There will be all types of classic speedboats on show, with some set to remain static for the public to see if they choose to come along.
Reardon encourages anyone with a speedboat eligible for the show to get involved - and add to the collection.
"If anybody has a boat from that kind of era then, of course, bring it along," she said.
The weekend event begins in the morning on Saturday, May 11, and continues through until Sunday afternoon.
Anyone who would like to contact them or find the exact location of their camping spot can do so via their Facebook page.
