The Be Connected program, an Australia-wide initiative empowering everyone to thrive in a digital world, will start from Thursday, June 6, between 9.30am and 10.30am.
"We are excited to be partnering with TransCare to offer free training to people older than 50 to gain skills and confidence using technology and the internet," SNRC manager Lee Watts said.
"The program will have online learning resources and offer in-person support to develop digital skills and confidence.
"Bring along your iPhone, iPad, laptop or, alternatively, there are computers on the premises.
"Classes take place over six weeks (from June 6) at the neighbourhood centre, 130 Liverpool Street.
"Please advise on booking should you need transport to and from your door."
If you would like to secure your place, phone the Scone Neighbourhood Centre on 6545 2562 or TransCare on 6545 3113.
