And, to prove it, the former Ellerston Public School student was recently crowned the Australian Professional Rodeo Association's 2019 Miss Rodeo Australia.
It's a title she's proud to hold in a sport she loves to represent and promote.
"It is an honour, and a privilege, to follow in the footsteps of so many talented women before me," Miss Taylor said.
"This is something I never thought I'd have.
"And, now that I do, I am going to make sure I cherish every moment - and take every opportunity thrown my way."
Miss Taylor spent her childhood growing up in the Upper Hunter, in the Ellerston-Moonan Flat area where her proud parents still live.
After attending Scone High School and St Joseph's High School Aberdeen, she decided she wanted to experience life in the Outback on cattle stations riding horses in the outdoors.
Her first job was on a family-owned cattle station near Cloncurry, in Queensland, and from that time she always wanted to make Cloncurry home.
Prior to settling down there, Miss Taylor worked on stations all over Queensland and the Northern Territory, during which time she also attended the Longreach Agricultural College where she successfully completed a Certificate in Agriculture - Horse Breeding.
She is now a veterinary nurse in Cloncurry with the North Australian Veterinary Clinic, working with her greatest love, animals.
In 2016, she made the call that it was time to settle down in one place and so she ventured back to Cloncurry.
The same year, she decided to enter the Curry Merry Muster Rodeo - Rodeo Queen Quest, this rodeo being her local event.
So, Miss Taylor began fundraising for her chosen charity and one close to her heart, the Royal Flying Doctor Service, as part of the requirement of her journey to become the Curry Merry Muster Rodeo and MRA.
In August, 2016, she was crowned the Curry Merry Muster Rodeo Queen, a title she held for two years.
She then ran in the MRA in 2017 and 2018, finishing second runner-up last year.
So, when all those rodeo competitors head north and, maybe, to Mt Isa Rodeo, look out for Miss Taylor and say "hi".
