Respected mentor Dean Trembath is scheduled to host a camp for the kids during the upcoming school holidays.
From Monday to Thursday, July 15 to 18, he'll conduct coaching (9am to noon) and match play (12.30pm to 3pm), with a presentation and barbecue winding up proceedings.
"We're looking forward to it," SHTA president Kirsty Cole said.
"There'll be lots of fun games, prizes and incentives provided to improve your children's tennis skills, knowledge and abilities.
"It will cost $20 per day or $70 for the four days."
Trembath will also be on deck for free tennis coaching on Sundays, beginning on July 27.
"It's all funded by the $10,000 ANZ Tennis Hot Shots grant that we were awarded in 2018," Cole said.
"We applied for it to offer free tennis coaching to all of the Scone community, members and non-members, primary and secondary schools, old and young, those who have never played the game and those who play regularly.
"The intention is to improve the skills of those who do take to the court.
"But, we also want to increase participation in the sport in the local area, increase the sense of community at our club as well as beginning the process of creating a collaborative sporting hub for the community to meet at, and enjoy, for years to come."
