Daffodil Day will be held on August 23 as part of a month long appeal that is hoping to raise $4 million across Australia for cancer research.
The Scone and District Cancer Support Group will have a stall in front of the Reject Shop manned by volunteers.
Volunteers will also be out and about painting the town yellow, visiting business houses in their yellow aprons.
All money goes back to the Cancer Council for important cancer research.
It may be the last chance to get your hands on merchandise like the iconic Dougal Bear, with the Cancer Council veering towards donations, flowers and pins for 2020.
Scone and District Cancer Support Group member Cath Coady encourages everyone to support this year's Daffodil Day.
"We ended up raising about $6000 last year, so we are hoping to raise the same this year.
"We have limited stock this year due to the Cancer Council deciding to cut back on merchandise but our ladies will still be walking into the business houses in their bright yellow aprons like they do every year trying to do their best."
Fresh daffodils will arrive at Tilse's Apples on Gundy Road this afternoon ready to be sold on Kelly street tomorrow.
