DUE to catastrophic and extreme fire danger ratings for Tuesday, November 12, Reflections Holiday Parks has made the unprecedented decision to shut the Lake Glenbawn site near Scone.

Four locations - at Hungry Head (Urunga), Seal Rocks (Seal Rocks), Killalea Reserve (Shell Cove) and Lake Glenbawn - will close their doors as of 4pm on Monday, November 11.

"Current guests and residents of the parks are being asked to leave and no new ones are being accepted," a spokesperson said.

"All staff will vacate the premises, too.

"Stay up-to-date about fires via the NSW Rural Fire Service Fires Near Me website and listen to emergency broadcaster, ABC."
