This tally, which was recorded at 8pm on Wednesday, April 1, brings the total number of Hunter New England confirmed cases to 234.
Hunter New England Health authorities have confirmed that there is still between 'one and four' confirmed cases in Singleton for the sixth straight evening.
The total number of confirmed cases at Cessnock had risen from 16 to 20 on Tuesday and now 23 on Wednesday while another two of the additional cases have been recorded in Maitland to town's tally to 27.

Currently 11 COVID-19 patients are being cared for in our hospitals, five in ICU, and 33 people have recovered so far.
Hunter New England Health is contacting close contacts of the new cases, who are being asked to self-isolate for 14 days from last contact.
