IT's not often a gelding gets a near 10kg weight drop after winning a $50,000 race, but consistent Scone warrior Military Bay won't know himself at Monday's feature Tamworth meeting.

The five-year-old has been beautifully placed through winter and early spring by gun trainer Mark Schmetzer, although this looms as a tough assignment.
Military Bay made it three wins in his past five, and overall seven from 26, romping away with the NSW Picnic Championship Final at Dubbo carrying 65kg, and he's back down on 56.5kg for a strong Class 2 Handicap over 1200m.
And, he'll have to be at his very best taking on some handy gallopers, including Scone pair Brother Bassy and My Zebrinka, and local duo Cozhecancan and Pass the Card.
Meanwhile, another Scone trainer Brett Cavanough can warm up for his Kosciuszko date with destiny next month, with a late slice of the Tamworth pie.
Down sharply in class, the long wait is set to be over for capable six-year-old Another Sin who looks well-placed to strike in an Open Hcp (1000m) to close the card.
Another Sin hasn't won since ploughing through the mud to claim the Wellington Town Plate in early autumn, but for the remainder of that prep and in three runs back, he's been tackling much tougher fields.
He felt the pressure both times in consecutive metropolitan BM 78s before run off his feet chasing some smart ones in the Hurricane (900m) at Newcastle.
But, from a draw where he should stalk the speed, Another Sin can return to the winner's stall.
Much intrigue will also centre on two Cavanough runners resuming.
Talented mare Know Where To Look returns in that Class 2 Handicap for her first run in more than seven months, and without an official trial; while stablemate mare Emperor's Star is also value in a Class 3 (1000m), although she faces stiff local opposition from resuming five-year-old I'm A Cracker, and good sprinter Lord Tony.
