Bell, who has just completed his Higher School Certificate at TAS, made the list of 25 after playing half of what was a gruelling match in which the metropolitan boys just edged out Country 24-19.
"The game was very evenly contested overall. City got off to a fast start scoring two quick tries but we managed to fight back and hold the lead for a period. We then unfortunately lost by a try. I was pretty happy with my involvement in what was a testing game," he said.
The Scone talent will spend the rest of the week at home before heading to Waratahs headquarters at Daceyville in Sydney on Friday for training, ahead of the game against NSW Schoolboys on Sunday.
From this Sunday's fixture a Combined NSW U18s squad is likely to be announced.
