The forum will be held at the Scone RSL Club from 6pm to 7:30pm on Tuesday, November 30.
12 candidates are in the running for the nine seat Upper Hunter Shire Council, with the election to be held on Saturday, December 4.
Scone Chamber said the forum will be moderated by Scone Chamber's Business Development Officer, Sarah English, with assistance from the Chamber's President, Rachael MGuirk.
"Each candidate will have an opportunity to say something about themselves, what they care about and why they are running for local Council," the Chamber said.
Ms English said the Chamber was "thrilled to be able to give the community the opportunity to hear from all of our local candidates prior to election day".
"I have had an RSVP from 10 out of the 12 candidates so far and expect the rest to come in the coming days," Ms English said.
"With lots in the pipe in the Upper Hunter such as Scone's Revitalisation Project, I think all will agree that it's important we do our part to elect an effective Council for our region."
The Scone Chamber said the 'Meet the Candidates' event will be free to attend, however attendees must register using the Chamber website.
