The six-year-old gelding overcame a seven-day turnaround and heavy-10 track to hold off Scott Singleton's fast-finishing Keen Contributer by 0.85 lengths in the class three handicap over 1400 metres.
Saturday's win comes nine months after Mr Hussill first saluted in a Highway at the same Sydney track. He backed up a fortnight later with a third on July 31 and was second on September 4.
"Initially set towards the Country Championships final and missing in the qualifiers, this horse has been very honest all preparation, including his fourth last week here over 1200m, and showed that honesty again today travelling wide and outlasting in the endurance-sapping heavy ground," the Scone trainer posted on social media.
Muswellbrook trainer Natasha Hall-Antonio took out the $20,000 Merriwa Cup (1350m) with Raay Of Dreams on Saturday.
Newcastle apprentice jockey Shayleigh Ingelse bookended the Merriwa meeting with wins on board Terry Wicks' Josie's Jet and Steve Hodge's Kikikapow. Kris Lees and Aaron Bullock combined with favourite Luna Eagle in the second.
Dylan Gibbons rode a double at Kembla Grange on Saturday courtesy of Hinchinjive and Noble Soldier.
