Savour the vistas from your bed or from the outdoor bathtub.

When Hawkesbury residents Clayton and Erin Jude moved to the outskirts of Bathurst, NSW, with their five children about 12 months ago, they were gobsmacked by the location's natural beauty.

Their 120-hectare sheep farm Oak Hill Estate, which produces Merino wool, has breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. But they weren't content keeping these vistas to themselves - they wanted to share it with everyone. So they built two Glasshouse Cabins, with queen beds, outdoor fire pits and bath tubs, and - most importantly - panoramic views of the setting all day and all night.
"You can sleep under the stars, and watch the day unfold from dawn to dusk from your bed," Clayton tells Explore. "We really want our guests to embrace the beauty of nature and all its elements." My all-time favourite destination is ... New York. You can drop a pin anywhere in Manhattan and start walking in any direction, and the sights and sounds of the city that never stops will begin to stimulate all your senses in an instant.
Next on my bucket list is … Scandinavia - at the peak of summer, when the sun almost never sets.
My top travel tip is … If you’re flying to Sydney from anywhere in the world, pick a window seat far from the wing on the left-hand-side of the aeroplane. If the weather gods and flight path align, you’ll have the most incredible views of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House.
