A highlight of the weekend was Ken MacCallum winning the Rob Clydsdale Memorial Open Draft as Ken is Rob’s nephew.
It is also 55 years this year since Ken had his first run in a campdraft, right there on the Rouchel turf.
Ken’s daughter, Rozinda Clare then went on to win the ladies and his son-in-law Lachie Maxwell won the maiden draft.
A full two days of campdrafting was witnessed along with a busy ring two on Saturday.
Competitors travelled from near and far for the event and were not disappointed with a fun weekend enjoyed.
A Calcutta was held on the maiden finalists on Saturday night in good bidding spirit.
Rouchel Bushman’s Carnival secretary Fred Miles said he was happy with how the weekend went.
He thanked all who were involved in making the draft happen, especially the committee, cattle donors, sponsors, helpers and the competitors.
