Five-eighth Jock Madden was named man of the match on the weekend after bagging a double in his Harold Matthews side’s 26-16 win over Manly at Brookvale Oval.
The under-16s team currently sits in fifth spot on the ladder ahead of a second round clash with Penrith this Saturday.
Fellow representatives Hayden Bell and Brodie Black were part of the under-17s development squad which drew 20-all against Greater Northern, while Ben Talty’s SG Ball outfit thumped Manly 42-18.

Both Talty and Madden made the final cut of their squads, with Bell and Black picked on a 32-man roster.
Bell, who made his debut in the under-17s’ draw, said the quality was a big step up from local football.
“The competition is pretty tough, it’s a lot different from footy here,” he said.
“I’m learning a lot of new things; I’ve been training twice a week down in Newcastle but it’s been well worth it.”
The regular season is expected to run until early April for all three competitions, with grand finals to be held the following month.
