One of the biggest events in the 11-day festival celebrations, the parade showcased the Upper Hunter horse world while adding a touch of extra flair, with samba dancers joining in as part of the theme ‘Horses Go To Rio.’
Headed by veteran horsemen and participants such as marching bands, local schools, equestrian clubs and horses of all breeds, the parade is one of the most striking demonstrations of the kindred of horse and man.
