Tillemans represented Scone Gymnastics Club in level three, while a further four local girls joined her at the annual event.
They were T’leah Gilbert, Ash Wright, Kris Wright, and Charlotte Heaton.
The cup was held at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre for the first time last weekend.
Coach Nicky Western said it was a fantastic experience for the girls.
“I think moving it to the entertainment centre certainly produced a great atmosphere,” Western said.
“Maybe the girls were a little bit overawed by that but they competed really well.”
The decision to change venues was made so the steadily growing competition could include more participants in future years.
More than 300 athletes took part in the 2016 event, with Sydney Academy of Gymnastics and a number of other clubs, including Central Coast, Dubbo and Gunnedah, making the trek.
Meanwhile, Scone Gymnastics Club has opened up a new class for registration. It is on Wednesday from 4-5pm for intermediate gymnasts.
There are still a few spaces left; if you would like to book visit the club’s Facebook page.
