LOCHIE Eadie has returned with three silver medals from the World Pankration (MMA) Championships in Italy.
The local fighter is coached at Scone’s Jiu Jitsu Dynamix by his father Rod.
He made the Australian team after winning two national titles in Pankration and then another two in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu earlier this year.
“To compete on the world stage has been a long term goal of mine and to come away with three silver medals is even better,” Lochie said.
Jiu Jitsu Dynamix has been producing many state, national and Pan Pacific champions, but they've set their sites on Las Vegas 2017 to fight in MMA on some of the premier fight shows.
Rod Eadie said recent results had shown the high-calibre of local fighters.
“Lochie is taking a much bigger step in his career to compete against some of the most respected up-and-coming fighters in MMA and has the talent and ability to succeed,” he said.
“It is also becoming more well known around the BJJ and MMA circuit that our academy has a talent pool of good technical fighters and we have the produced the evidence.”
