And, she has every reason to feel that way.
Following the release of the HSC results on Thursday, Scone High School was the recipient of eight Band 6s and a further 28 Band 5s.
“It’s an excellent outcome – in fact, we’re stoked,” Ms Hunt said.
“We’re a great local public school; and the teachers have put in hours and hours with the students.
“They’re very strong results across a wide range of subjects.
“Lots of pupils have already secured places at university, so this is the icing on the cake.
“I’m very proud of everyone.”
Those to receive the prestigious Band 6 marks were Ebony Taylor (music, PDH PE), Rachel Pittman (biology, business studies), Samantha Roser (hospitality), Alyssa Jones (hospitality), Luke Morris (maths) and Isaac Smith (music).
Ebony and Isaac also collected scores of 96 and 95 respectively.
Others to shine included Brianna Muddiman and Shania Thompson.
