The winner with a very good score of 40 points was Kathy Robinson.
Her round included a birdie on the second for a five-ball haul from the Birdie Box, and the NTP on the 17th.
Wendy Clift also won a ball with 37 points.
On Thursday, May 25, the ladies will play an 18-hole stableford for a Doncaster Bistro Trophy and it will also be round two of the singles knockout.
A reminder to the lady members, the first of the major events for the year will be played on June 15 with the Foursomes Championships.
Some players will support the Muswellbrook ladies open day on Wednesday, May 24.
The Scone ladies winning pennant team will attend the Hunter River District dinner and presentation night on Saturday, May 27, at Singleton.
After some welcome rain on Friday, the men played an 18-hole four-person ambrose event for the George Campbell, Geoff Ferguson, Lindsay Hodge and Les Cottam Trophy.
The best score was by Graham White, Sandy Lettice, Joel Woods and Reagan Murray who had 55 and 3/8ths to beat visitor Richie Bennett and Paul, James and Justin Smart on 56 and 1/8th.
The balls were rounded out by Scott Reid, Simon Groom, Adam Russell and Andy Phelps who had 56 and 5/8ths.
The NTPs were won by Jeff Harrington who finished 0.585 metres from the hole on the second to help his team to a birdie, and by James Smart 3.08 metres on the 8th/17th.
On Saturday, May 27, the men will play an 18-hole individual and 2B stableford for Scott Shann and Duncan Yuille’s trophy.
On Sunday, May 28, some Scone players will contest the Hunter River District Sandgreen Championships at Murrurundi.
The Scone Holden Scramble will be played on Sunday, June 4, with a shotgun start at 11am so teams need to get their nominations in ASAP.
It is an open event but team conditions apply and these are displayed on the golf noticeboard or available on the Holden Scramble website.
A reminder that the Scone Golf Club AGM and new course information night will be held on Monday, May 29, at 6pm.
