Sandy joined the agency in 1996 and quickly established himself as one of the Upper Hunter’s most successful sales agents building an impressive sales record. In 2004 he became a partner in the business and assumed the position of Licensee in Charge. In 2013 Sandy took full ownership of the Agency.
In July 2015 the Scone office opened, headed by Sarah Lorden. Having owned an award winning real estate agency in Sydney’s Inner West, Sarah brought 25 years of experience to the Scone team and its clients.
With the 2 offices consistently gaining market share it’s now the perfect time for the agency to roll out its re-brand, offering a fresh new look and slick marketing vehicle to promote clients’ properties, supported by the strength of its rich local expertise. Having won a string of local and industry awards, Warburtons have become a trusted source of property advice, assuming a strong market position across the region, with Sandy attributing their solid strategies for the continuing success.
“Our primary focus is to customise our approach for each and every client and then deliver consistent communication and feedback. Sellers want to know what’s happening, whether it’s good or bad. Our level of communication is what sets us apart,” says Sandy.
With his entire real estate career of 22 years spent in the Upper Hunter at the same agency, he has a clear understanding of the local market, its buyers and how to deliver the best results for his clients.
“The market in Scone and Muswellbrook is buoyant, properties typically sell within 60 days. Buyers recognise the area for jobs growth and prices reflect that. We’re seeing a good deal of interest from buyers from the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie - or people outside of traditional mining areas.”
Warburton also assists property owners in the rental market and with vacancies currently at less than 1 per cent, demand is strong. In a competitive market, the history of Warburton is key to achieving the results that homeowners desire.
“Local results are key when you’re considering engaging an agency. It’s easy to start with a brand that you know but what’s important is the success of that brand locally. What happens in one town can be very different to what happens in another, knowing your agent understands the location and its buyers is crucial.”
