SOOSH VACATION CARE - hours 8.00am - 6.00pm
There have been great activities such a glow run and excursions. Tomorrow is the last day of the school holidays and there's plenty to keep the kids occupied with; there's 'Love Ya Mum Day' at the Merriwa Youth Centre where youth will be making gifts for Mother's Day and Anzac biscuits, you can play board games at the Murrurundi Youth Centre and if you thrive under pressure, take part in the fire drill at the Scone Youth Centre. SOOSH will be starting their day with a yoga lesson, Aberdeen Library will be making jig-saw puzzles and decorating butterflies and at Scone Library you can attend storytime and craft. For further information, visit Council's website upperhunter.nsw.gov.au under 'Our Shire', 'Community Newsletters', 'What's On'.
Rural Aid on their way.
It is fantastic to hear that Rural Aid have organised volunteers that are ready to roll up their sleeves and support Murrurundi and surrounding farms. The town will also have the privilege of hearing from ten Army Band members that will perform at schools and will be at the White Hart Monday 6 May.
Not to be missed at the Rosedale Complex thank you dinner on May 10 for the volunteers and community.
