Organisers say about 3,000 riders pedal the 16 kilometre course around the City of Brotherly Love past sights including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.
Some riders wear their birthday suits while others sport underwear or just body paint and glitter.
The ride is to promote positive body image, advocate for the safety of cyclists and protest dependence on fossil fuels.
