Drive Against Depression headed for the Sunshine State

With the spring season in full swing, Brisbane then Melbourne will be the launchpads for the organisation's next Drive Days, which help to achieve the charity's mission of "bringing together a like-minded and non-judgemental community where conversations about mental health are normalised and connection is fostered over the shared enthusiasm for motoring".

Following its first-ever New South Wales event back in June, DAD's inaugural Brisbane Drive Day will commence in Ferny Grove and head to Maleny for lunch. There, participants will hear from keynote speaker and DAD's Health and Wellness expert, Olly Bridge, for tips on supporting your mental health.

On Sunday, October 22, DAD will then host its Spring Drive Day in Melbourne, starting from Mernda and taking the scenic route via Heathcote before finishing up at the Maldon Hotel for lunch.

Drive Against Depression holds regular motoring events and is continuing to build a network of mental health practitioners to support the community, offering a non-judgemental and judgement-free opportunity for people to connect with others and feel comfortable to share their mental wellness journey.
