WET conditions did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the local community as residents turned up in droves for the annual Biggest Morning Tea.
More than 130 people attended the cancer fundraiser at the Uniting Church Hall, Scone, on Thursday morning.
The Scone and District Cancer Support Group thanked the community for its generosity, with $2535 heading to The Cancer Council NSW to aid research and prevention programs.
Raffles were drawn and first prize was won by Lucille Collison, second prize by Peter Willard, and third prize by Elaine Wicks.
There were 127 lollies in the lolly jar and those closest were Mavis Merrick, Stephanie McGuirk, and Caroline Carter.
