The 26th annual Festival of the Fleeces attracted a large crowd keen to see more than 200 sheep wearing red socks run through the street.
The event also included market stalls, entertainment, wood carving and sheep shearing.
The popular Merriwa event drew crowds from far and wide.
The Running of the Sheep lead into the march which featured schools, community groups, local emergency services, and more.
The action-packed festival, from June 10 to 12, has been a major Upper Hunter event since it was established in 1990.
