Manager Lee Watts said the first editions were compiled as a fundraiser.
“The books include local recipes from Scone cooks aptly named ‘A scone in Scone’ and ‘how about a little...Jam & Cream with your scone,’” she said.
“The books were popular when first released and the centre continued to sell the cookbook over the years, but we thought it was time for a reformat.

The first of two cookbooks are now available to purchase with some fantastic recipes that have been handed down through generations.
The second book will be available by the end of the month.
“The collections includes Entrées, Mains, Pickles, Relish, a selection of sweets and, of course, a few scone recipes”, said Mrs Watts.
“The Cookbook is printed in the old imperial measure, with a metric conversion table included.
Even if you are not a cook it is a great keepsake, with the recipes coming from local women.
If you would like to purchase a copy, please call at the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre, 130 Liverpool St, Scone and pick up your copy for $20.
