But, don’t be alarmed – it’s all for a good cause.
A fun-filled family evening is assured at this month’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter Scone Support Group’s Halloween Party.
The event will take place at the Scone Bowling Club on Saturday, October 29, from 5pm.
And, aside from the usual Halloween atmosphere, music, games and prizes for the best dress boy, girl, man, lady and family is on the cards.
Scone Support Group chairperson Errol Bates admitted he was looking forward to the function.
“We were overwhelmed with the community’s response last year,” he said.
“It actually caught us a bit off guard; plenty of parents and children came dressed up and we raised a good amount of money for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
“It was just a fantastic night.
“We have been putting a lot of work into this year’s event, so we’re hoping for another great turnout from the local community.
“Those attending can bring a basket supper; the club’s bar and bistro is also available.”
Tickets are $10 (adult/child 14 years and over) or $5 (kids 5 to 14 years), while children under the age of five are free.
