The Cottage Restaurant in Scone is currently playing host to a Melbourne Cup lunch which doubles as a fundraiser for the Scott Memorial Hospital.
Master of Ceremonies Warren “Rabbit” Turner is in charge of the day's activites, with $5, $10 and $20 sweeps, a silent auction and phantom race call.
There is also a Fashions on the Field and lucky door prizes on offer, while screens are set up throughout the restaurant to capture all of the action.
