THE buzz surrounding the Hawker Hurricane brought thousands to Scone Airport on Saturday.
And, the crowds were not disappointed.
Earlier this month, the Canadian-built aircraft was the first to fly in Australia since World War II.
The aircraft was delicately restored to its former glory by Pay’s Air Service.
There were also a range of warbirds on display, including the Spitfire VIIII, P-51 Mustang, Grumman Avenger, CAC Wirraway, T-28 Trojan, and L-39 Albatros.
All profits will go to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
