SCONE Grammar School's second Homegrown, Handmade Twilight Markets was a resounding success.
The event on Thursday included more than 50 stall holders, live entertainment, and other activities such as an Xmas craft corner and face painting.
One of the most popular activities proved to be a wet sponge-throwing contest, with principal Paul Smart among those in the firing line.
Staff member Alice Forsythe said the community’s support was greatly appreciated.
“All of the money raised will go towards upgrading the playground and facilities,” she said.
“The school would just like to thank all of the stall holders and everyone who supported the markets.
“We now look forward to an even bigger and better event in 2017.”
