Everything from pumpkins to pork were the order of the day in the Levee on Thursday.
Slow Food Hunter Valley held another successful fresh produce market in Central Maitland between 3pm and 7pm.
Crowds started to gather in front of the stalls from early doors, with people keen to get their hands on some fresh and tasty treats.
Organiser Amorelle Dempster said business was “buzzing” on Thursday afternoon.
“There are lots of people here – it’s really good to see people coming down to support the farmers,” she said.
“I think we’re in for a good season of vegetables here in the Hunter.”
It was the second produce market of the year, with the popular event expected to be held monthly.
