The Scone-based organisation took the opportunity to show its appreciation to the people who give so much to them at a luncheon on Friday.
But, it was Mrs Anderson who received the biggest surprise.
She received the Pam Moscatt Volunteer of the Year Award for 2018.
The modest resident has been volunteering with TransCare for almost three years as a helper on its bus services.
"Ros is on the bus three days a week, assisting clients with their bags, walkers, getting on and off and anything else to make the trip easier," TransCare chairperson Penelope Fenley said.
"She puts in the hard yards - she'll help with washing and cleaning the buses as well.
"Volunteers like Ros are a huge part of why we can do what we do in the community.
"We know that our clients value their service.
"For some of them our volunteers are the reason they have been able to remain independent and active in the community.
"They drive clients to appointments, take them shopping, accompany them on errands and more.
"From all of the staff and clients at TransCare we would like to extend our thanks to all of our volunteers and hope they know the difference they make every day to so many lives."
