Five local organisations including Transcare, Upper Hunter Shire Council's Young Endeavour Scheme, 1st Scone Scouts, Scone Girl Guides and Scone Public School all received $500 donations this week.
The presentation was made at the club's 58th Anniversary and Annual Installation of Officers dinner at Scone RSL Club on Tuesday night.
"Despite our small number of members, we have raised enough funds over the last 12 months to be able to give donations to the local community who always come first," said Maria Musumeci, who was also returned as Scone Lions president on the night.
"Fundraising over the past twelve months has included Christmas cake sales, carols by candlelight, the Australia Day barbecue, Scone Rugby League football gates, raffles, Anzac Day breakfast and more."
TransCare's general manager Garry Lane said it was the third year he had attended the dinner.
"TransCare relies on a huge bank of volunteers which are wonderful, so we are very appreciative of the Lion Club's donation," he said.
Meanwhile Scone Girl Guides leader Lauren Jones said the small group was able to use last year's donation to increase their membership.
"Last year we were down on numbers," she said.
"So we used all the money we got to get us back on our feet. This year we are happy to report we have increased our membership."
Scone Public School will use the money to go towards their free breakfast program.
Zone 10 Chairman Lion Mick McCrone from Singleton had nothing but praise for the local organisation.
"Lions Club International is the biggest service club in the world," he said.
"Everywhere, regardless of numbers, you will find there's a Lions Club and our mottos are 'we serve' and 'where there's a need there's a Lion'.
"And Zone 10 and especially Scone Lions has been very very good supporting our farmers during the drought which I give them special thanks for."
