This Wednesday night (October 16) the Belmore Hotel Scone is hosting a Buy A Bale Trivia Fundraiser with horse racing and rural themed questions the highlight.
The event kicks off from 7pm and is $3 per person to enter, with all of the proceeds going to drought relief charity.
There will be raffles also, with plenty of prizes to be won.
The event has been organised by ladies from the Godolphin Flying Start Program and compliments existing fundraising initiatives run by the Belmore Hotel Scone such as their Parma for a Farmer campaign which has raised $861 since July.
A portion of every parmigiana sold is donated to Rural Aid's Buy a Bale initiative, supporting farmers during these drought-affected times.
"We've been running Parma for a Farmer since August last year and $2 from every Parma we donate, and this trivia night is just an extension of that," The Belmore Hotel's Tennille Crisp said.
"As you know the drought is affecting businesses, farmers and individuals in towns so it's good to pull together as a community and raise some funds.
"The trivia is a free event we do every week and it's an opportunity for people to unwind and come out and have a beer and catch up with friends."
