Christmas in the Park will again be held at White Park from 5pm, Saturday, December 7.

Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre manager Lee Watts said the whole community is invited to celebrate Christmas, enjoy live music provided by Hamish Guiana and the Oh's, visit the market stalls and get a photo with Santa.

You can also have your face painted or grab a tattoo, take a ticket in the chocolate wheel and maybe win a ham, then sit back and watch an extraordinary display of fireworks.

"Children will have unlimited access to carnival rides, air brush tattoos and face painting with the purchase of a $5 wrist band," she said.

"Raffles are available with tickets on sale at the Neighbourhood centre prior to the event.

"You could win a garden trolley with a $1000 worth of toys donated by Scone Sports Store or a trolley of Christmas Cheer thanks to BWS, Celarbrations and Ice Box Liquor.

"Don't miss our community Christmas event, bring a blanket or chair, purchase a meal from the BBQ or one of the many other food outlets and enjoy the event, we look forward to seeing you there.

"Staff and volunteers love this time of the year but work extremely hard to bring such a large event together.

"You can support the Neighbourhood Centre by making a donation on entry with all funds going back to the Centre."

In the meantime, you can get into the festive spirit by having your photo taken with Santa.

"The Christmas elves are ready and Santa is booked ready for photos in Scone again," Mrs Watts said.

"You will find Santa and elves in our office located inside the library at 130 Liverpool Street, Scone.

"We look forward to the children visiting, no booking is necessary."
