Work to place asphalt and line marking on the new road surface is required at night on the existing New England Highway where it ties in to the new bypass.
These changed traffic conditions will be in place for up to four nights between 6pm and 7am from Monday 24 to Friday 28 February, weather permitting.
A 40 kilometre per hour speed limit will be in place while the work is carried out for the safety of road users, and traffic controllers and signage will be in place to safely direct motorists.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and to follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW has thanked road users for their patience during this time.
