The double round is set to have major impacts on the table, with just three weeks remaining of the regular season.
Every team will make their way to Scone's Bill Rose Sports Complex on Saturday, with each scheduled to play two T20 matches fixtured at 12:30 and 3:30 pm - aside from Silver Slugs and Belltrees who have one bye.
Upper Hunter District Cricket Association president, Tim Johnson, explained why they introduced the idea this campaign.
"It all came about due to the expansion of our competition with the additional teams (Souths, Brook Blue, Silver Slugs) joining over the past couple of years," he said.
"We had to find a way to maintain a home and away season where teams played each other twice - once home and once away - so that would keep things equal."
They wanted to do this without dramatically extending the season, so the concept of Super Saturday was born.
One was held in late October last year, and Johnson said the light-hearted nature of the competition and banter between the sides on show according made it a success.
"All of the feedback from all of our teams was that it was something they were all looking forward to and it was something a bit different," he stated.
"So we're really going after that festival atmosphere."
The matches are also set to be exciting, and recent conditions have reportedly led to some top-notch pitches and fields being available.
Several 'eight-pointers' will be played throughout the day, with games such as Merriwa (3rd) versus Belltrees (1st), Murrurundi (5th) versus Belmore Bulls (2nd), Rouchel (6th) versus Bushrangers (7th), Brook Blue (9th) versus Bunnan (10th) and Aberdeen (4th) versus Bushrangers to take place.
