WRHS attends two accidents in Pokolbin and later at Rouchel near Aberdeen

Westpac Rescue Helicopter landed at Pokolbin earlier this afternoon to assist with a motorcycle accident.

At the scene the aircraft Doctor and Critical Care Paramedic treated a 20-year- old male. The young man was attempting to avoid a collision with a kangaroo and lost control of his motorcycle.

The man has been airlifted to the Royal North Shore Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.

He is reported to be in a stable condition.

Soon after attending this accident the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to assist with a motor vehicle accident at Upper Rouchel East of Scone.

At the scene a 23 year old male was treated by the aircraft medical crew.

The man is being transported to the John Hunter Hospital suffering from a chest injury.
