The council said the completion of remediation works was a "major milestone" for the project after independent engineers inspected the structure and signed off on the works which have taken place over the past five weeks.
The council said other works on the Hunter Warbirds are continuing.
"Primer continues to be applied to the roof structure and columns," the council said in a statement.
"Cladding has also begun on the roof of the hangar. Work crews will finish the roof before moving onto the side walls."
The council said the cladding is expected to be completed by mid-December depending on weather conditions.
Work on the roofing and external cladding has been completed and the painting of the external walls has begun, according to the council.
"The internal gyprock is mostly done and tiling of the wet areas will start soon," the council said.
"The lift has been completed and commissioned, although it will not be used during construction."
The council said the final fit-out is currently on track for completion in February ahead of the Warbirds Over Scone event, which is scheduled to take place on March 26 and 27 in 2022.
