Teams from Group 4, 19 and the local Group 21 competed with players vying for positions in the Greater Northern Representative teams to play in the Country Championships later in the month.
As well as Seniors, Under 18s and Under 16s, each group had a Ladies League Tag team playing for the very first time.
The League Tag do not go on to the Country Championships this year, however the talk is that they will in 2016.
Group 4 were winners in the Seniors defeating Group 21 and having a draw with Group 19.
Under 18s went to the Group 19 team for the third consecutive year after they won both their games, while the local Group 21 team won both their games to take out the Under 16s.
Group 4 took out the Ladies League Tag with two wins.
Scone was well represented in all teams and congratulations to the following players selected to go to the next level.
Daniel Ritter, Tim Smith and Joel Harrison in the Seniors, Under 18 players Lachlan Walmsley, Isaac Austin and Travis Bateman, and Under 16 player Brodie Black.
The Scone Rugby League Football Club committee would like to pass on their thanks to all those who volunteered and assisted on the day.
The club relies on its supporters and volunteers every home game and when the call went out for this unscheduled event, there was a really good response, particularly from players not involved.
This week sees four games at home against Singleton on Sunday, May 10.
The first game is Ladies League Tag commencing at 10.15am, Under 18s at 11.15am, Reserves at 12.30pm and First Grade at 2pm.
It would be great to see a big home crowd there to support all teams.
