The Scone Thoroughbreds’ fundraising event on Saturday night saw 18 jumpers, which were the same style as those worn by the 1996 premiership winning team, go to auction.
Thoroughbreds’ president Scott Pennell was overwhelmed by the response.
“This is a terrific example of the type of people who support our club,” he said.
“The money raised from this auction will go to a well-deserving charity and I think all involved in the event should be very proud of this outcome.
“The night overall has been a great success and our thanks to all who contributed.”
The event was held after Scone’s matches against Aberdeen in the afternoon.
Entertainment was provided by ‘Sporting Legends’ Max Krilich and ‘Miracle’ Mal Johnston.
