All funds raised will go towards helping the 1st Scone Scout Group attend their next Australian Jamboree.
For two weeks in January 2019, more than 10,000 Scouts from across Australia, and the region, will camp together in South Australia for this once in a lifetime experience.
Combined Service Club dinners have been held in the Scout Hall, Main Street, Scone, every three years since 1997.
The function will see local scouting families providing the three-course meal and the scouts serving on the night.
Muswellbrook’s Leanne Duck will be the guest speaker on the night, talking about her experience of hiking up the iconic Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania – the highest mountain in Africa.
Bookings are essential. Contact Greg Morris on gcl.morris@bigpond.com by Friday, February 23.
Cost is $30 per person payable on the night, with a raffle and drinks also available.
