All funds from the evening went towards sending local scouts to the next Australian Jamboree, being held in South Australia in January 2019.
Scout leader Greg Morris said it was a successful gathering with a good turn out on the night.
“A three-course meal was prepared by scouting families with the scouts as waiters and on wash up duty,” he said.
“Muswellbrook’s Leanne Duck was the guest speaker. She spoke about her trek to the top of Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the highest mountain in Africa.
“Our thanks to the service clubs and those that came on the night, Scone Bowling Club, RSL Club, Scone Woolworths, Scone Potting Shed, Fraser Milk supplies and Hunter Belle Cheeses for their support for the dinner.”
