ON a hot day and on a very dry course a good contingent of seven Scone ladies travelled to Aberdeen to support the first open day of the season on Wednesday.
Scone golfers were amongst the prize winners at 2018 Aberdeen Ladies Open, with Lyn Banks winning the scratch event in Division 1 with 82, whilst Judy Carmody took the crown in the Division 2 nett event with 70.
June Jukes took home both the Nearest The Pin on the 7 th / 16 th and Long Drive prize for Division 1 with a monster drive on the 3rd hole that many took two shots to reach.
Well done to the Aberdeen ladies who ran a successful event in the first open day of the season.
Round 5 of the Hunter River District Pennant will be played on Monday April 16 at Singleton with Scone playing Cessnock.
On Thursday April 19 a number of Scone players are looking forward to playing the Quirindi course in an invitation Irish Fourball event.
